For this project, I coded a generative design system creating dynamic poster variations for the Nihon Matsuri in Bern. The generator automatically produces unique compositions combining traditional Japanese elements—sakura motifs, geometric patterns, and seasonal imagery—while maintaining consistent brand identity across different color palettes.
The system balances algorithmic creativity with cultural authenticity, ensuring each generated poster respects Japanese aesthetic principles while offering visual diversity. Strategic design elements extend seamlessly from print to digital applications, demonstrating how generative design can preserve cultural integrity while scaling creative output for festival branding.
